I’m Kate, a nutrition nerd passionate about all things food and travel. I love simplicity in all aspects of my life, including cooking. You will not find elaborate recipes on here or my Instagram because the less time I spend in the kitchen, the happier I am.
I currently work as a Whole30 Certified Coach and Air Force Officer. At the end of March, I am separating from the Air Force, taking a few months to travel the world and focus on Whole30 coaching before becoming a full-time nutrition student. 3rd degree is a charm, right? 🙂
My passion for holistic nutrition stems from a long battle with digestive issues and sicknesses. Traditional treatments failed consistently and over time, chronic illness took a toll on my passions. I no longer enjoyed eating and traveling was impossible. I started eating paleo-ish in 2012, but it didn’t take root until I did my first Whole30 in early 2014 when I moved to Washington, D.C., where I currently reside. Since then, I have learned so much about how to really nourish my body. It’s been such a freeing experience, and I’m so passionate about helping others find that too!
